Mikhail Konstantinovich Poplavsky (b.1914 -c.1994).

An important Soviet Impressionist artist.

Born in Krasnodar.
Graduated from the Repin Art Institute in Leningrad in 1940.

Exhibited since 1946. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Won numerous awards for his contribution to the Soviet art. Merited Artist of the Ukraine.

His paintings hang in most prestigious Ukrainian and Russian museums and private collections worldwide. Active in Kiev.
